T-shirt and Sweatshirt Print Quality

We prefer DTG technology in t-shirt printing. The design prepared on the computer with the Direct to Garment printing technique is realized on the sewn product with the dyes sprayed by the printing machine on the fabric without color separation. Direct to Garment (DTG) is well suited for printing complex and multicolored designs. You can print on photo quality t-shirts or sweatshirts without color limit.

When you touch the print, it gives a soft touch feeling to your hands. There is no thickness on the fabric like in printing and transfer printing. When washed at 30 degrees, you can use your print for a long time without spoiling. In printing, problems such as spillage, tearing, etc. do not occur, such as bonding, transfer printing with heat. Because all DTG printers use water-based ink, prints should be compared to water-based screen printing. When washed repeatedly, clothing and ink on its surface will deteriorate over time. The industry standard is 50 washes and the DTG print type easily accommodates this. Of course, the detergent used here is very important. For example, if you wash your white t-shirt with a detergent containing bleach, the colors of the t-shirt pattern will fade.

The Dupont paints used are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 Certified and CPSIA certificates. Since they have water-based and organic certificates, they do not harm human health and the environment.

Since DTG printing is a digital process, printing is sharper and has a higher resolution than traditional printing methods such as screen printing. DTG has the ability to print only one t-shirt at minimal cost.

T-Shirt Printing Stages

Step 1: Print file preparations;

The resolution of the image you have uploaded or the design you have made in the Kammana design tool is checked and the resolution is upgraded if necessary. If you have uploaded a picture and it will be bad in this print, you will be informed and a new visual will be requested or the order will be canceled.

Step 2:  Garment preparation for printing;

Your product is prepared for printing according to the t-shirt or sweatshirt model you choose. In dark colored T-shirts, the T-shirt is dried and prepared for printing by spraying, which is used to hold the paint before printing. On dark colored t-shirts, you can sometimes see the traces of this spray applied brightly, and these marks will disappear in the first wash. For this reason, making the first wash with a medium-hard detergent by inverting at 30 degrees will extend the useful life of the print.

Step 3: Printing

At this stage, the product printing machine is laid and the printing process is started by making a special adjustment according to the size and color of the pattern. This stage may take about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4: Drying and Final Quality Control

At this stage, the product is rested for a while and then the ironing process is taken to ensure the integration of the dye with the fabric.
